UPDATE: Just added a fourth camera to my collection. My friend Joe (see my page) gave me a medium format camera that he found in his basement. I’m really excited to try it out once I buy some film for it. Results are pending.

Three little houses refers to my three cameras.

The first, a Canon EOS 650, I purchased on Ebay for $50 dollars. It came with two lenses, a camera bag, a little pouch of tools and a manual. 

My second camera was a gift from my grandmother. She had an old Canon AE1 that no longer worked. I tried to fix it but it would have cost more than buying a new one so that’s exactly what she did for $30 on Ebay (there is a theme here). It came with a fixed 50mm lens and little else but it is a great camera, one of the best film cameras ever produced. At the same time she also gave me all her old lenses and attachments including two hotshoe flash units and several filters. 

My third camera is a digital SLR - a Canon 30D. I bought it from B&H photo in NYC, body only.
